Mál og Mening - Touring Map It is an Icelandic map publisher who have published a tourist map over Iceland in the scale 1:600,000 which on the back has a mileage table together with color photos and descriptions of Iceland's most treasured nature sights. Moreover, four maps that overlap each other have been published in the scale 1:300,000. The 4 maps and the map over all of Iceland is available in a box-set. Furthermore, it is possible to get geoligical, tectonic and vegetation maps over Iceland. The road maps, which won an award for the best cartographic map series in 1999, are very accurate when it comes to town names and roads, and the awardwinning cartography shows the difference in heights in Iceland very clearly. The maps have different kinds of useful buildings like churces, shelters and camping lots marked.
