The tour of Mont Blanc is recognised as one of the best of the world´s classic walks: it has the excitement of a high mountain journey, with few of the worries.
Taking about 11 days on the circuit round the highest range in western Europe (and so fitting comfortably within a two-week holiday), the route has plentiful accommodation, valley acces and many variants.
The guide describes the classic anti-clockwise route as well as the (perhaps slighty easier) clockwise route.
Throughout its length the route provides beautiful views of the glorious snow, ice and rock peaks of the Mount Blanc range.
